Two children, haunted by the disappearance of their parents abducted by the Syrian regime, navigate grief and isolation as fragile shadow figures in a world shaped by fear and silence. With the help of a star born from the Syrian cultural roots, they find the strength to reclaim their identity, confront injustice, and demand the truth about their loved ones.

The narrative is inspired by stories from The Syrian Oral History Archive (SOHA), run by Dawlaty since 2016, preserves the voices of ordinary Syriansโ€”especially women and youthโ€”documenting personal and collective memories of the 2011 Uprising and its aftermath. Its mission is to empower marginalized communities to share their experiences, challenge dominant narratives, and contribute to the pursuit of justice.
